Ian is from the Washington DC suburb of Bethesda, Maryland. He studied Financial Management at Clemson University in South Carolina. He is brother of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity and of the Delta Sigma Pi business fraternity. Additionally he has lived in Venice, Jakarta and Cairo. Ian currently workes for Fisher Investments as an Account Executive in San Mateo.
Ian enjoys the San Francisco nightlife, movies, soccer, live music and traveling. He resides in Nob Hill.
General Counsel: Michael Sweeney
A native San Franciscan, Michael Sweeney is a graduate of St. Ignatius College Preparatory, the University of California at Berkeley and the University of California’s Hastings College of the Law. He practices probate and estate planning law in San Francisco’s West Portal neighborhood. He once appeared as a contestant on the television program, Jeopardy!
Issues Director: Alisa Farenzena
Alisa is a native San Franciscan and Diamond Heights resident. She graduated from Lowell High School in 2002 and the University of California at Berkeley in 2008. At Cal, she was an active member of the Berkeley College Republicans as well as the editor in chief of the conservative California Patriot magazine. She is currently an elected member of the San Francisco Republican County Central Committee, representing the 13th Assembly District, and an appointed member of the California Republican Party.
In her free time, Alisa enjoys eating out, traveling, volunteering at the Presidio Native Plant Nursery, working on various theater-related projects, and volunteering for political campaigns.
Membership Director: Catherine Carr
Catherine was born and raised a San Francisco Republican — graduating from S.I. in 2000, UC Berkeley in 2004 and recently finished her MPH at USC in 2007. Currently, she works at California Pacific Medical Center as a clinical research coordinator — specializing in hepatology, G.I. and oncology trials.
You can find Catherine at an assortment of events and activities outside of work — from helping to register Republicans on the street corners in S.F., to serving on the alumni board of S.I., to being a lector at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. She can’t wait to see her city turn Republican red — but needs your help for it to happen!
