California College Republican’s Convention Fundraiser

Please join fellow San Francisco Republicans in supporting the California College Republican’s 2009 Convention, which will be held in San Francisco on April 24-26. Assemblyman Guy Houston will be the featured speaker. The College Republicans are holding their convention in San Francisco to show that even in the most liberal part of the state, the Republican presence is strong. Let’s not disappoint them.

As you know, the SFYR held a Charity Bachelor and Bachelorette Auction to benefit the Janet Pomeroy Center at our February Happy Hour. The courage of the YRs who got up on the auction block was rewarded, as the night raised over $1,200 for the Center. It was the first time we tried an event like this, and it is safe to say it was a success. We would like to thank all those who placed bids, made donations, showed up to support the center, and, of course, a big thanks to our bachelors and bachelorettes!
