SFYR Blog!

As you know, the SFYR held a Charity Bachelor and Bachelorette Auction to benefit the Janet Pomeroy Center at our February Happy Hour. The courage of the YRs who got up on the auction block was rewarded, as the night raised over $1,200 for the Center. It was the first time we tried an event like this, and it is safe to say it was a success. We would like to thank all those who placed bids, made donations, showed up to support the center, and, of course, a big thanks to our bachelors and bachelorettes! We’ll be meeting at Azul and our guest speaker will be Hans Hansson, Principal. Starboard TCN Worldwide. Hans was the former Chairman of SFYR in the ’80s, when the group had record membership numbers (400+). He will speak on how he was able to make the club so successful, and he will also discuss why you have an advantage in business when you are a Republican in SF!
